Manufactured as a Polymer/Aluminum hybrid, our rear adapter provides the OE fit of the polymer adapter with a heavy duty 1/4" thick aluminum insert to support the recoil spring seat and reinforce the buttstock mount. The adapter uses a polished step pin on the hinge and secures positively via the factory HK takedown pin. 

The G36C stock works perfectly on this platform with a very comfortable length and cheek rest position when running a high-mount optic. Note that the G36 stock is slightly higher than a factory MP5 stock and will require a riser when running optics. 

-Note: while the hinged adapter provides a positive latch when the stock is opened, the G36 stock has no provision to latch in the folded position.
