This is an all new lower receiver for the Grand Power Stribog, designed to use the popular and well established AR fire control group and grips. These AR features bring almost limitless possibilities to your Stribog platform, allowing the user to customize the Stribog to suit their individual tastes and shooting preferences.

A3 TACTICAL BOLT RELEASE LEVERS:
-By default, our lower receiver ships with a CNC-formed steel bolt release lever. These are manufactured from 304 stainless steel and powderocated satin black.
-This item can be upgraded to our machined aluminum bolt release lever. These levers are machined from 6061 aluminum and then hard coated low-gloss black. They have a hardened steel insert at the bolt interface and textured thumb levers.

RISE ARMAMENT RAVE 140 TRIGGER:
The RISE Armament Rave PCC is the gen 2 PCC variation of the best-selling RA-140 Super Sporting Trigger (SST). Among RISE triggers, the Rave PCC is engineered with a specially designed hammer to withstand the powerful impact of a PCC’s blowback system. It includes free anti-walk pins.
TIMNEY PCC TRIGGER:
Timney set the standard for aftermarket trigger upgrades. Factory set pull weight of 2.5-3 pounds that will give you a crisp, clean, break. All components are captive in the lightweight, aluminum alloy housing. Hammer is wire-EDM machined from S7 tool steel that combines hardness to resist wear with superior impact resistance to withstand heavy use without chipping or breaking. Other components are EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated to Rc 56-60 for long service life. CMC PCC TRIGGER: Due to the rise in popularity of Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) rifles and after careful research and development, CMC Trigger launched the CMC 9mm PCC Drop-in Trigger. The trigger’s hammer dimensions have been modified to work with all the various manufacturer bolt carriers designed for the 9mm platform. The CMC PCC trigger features a non-adjustable 3.5lb pull that breaks like glass. CMC Triggers is the original manufacturer of the Drop-in Trigger Group for the AR-15/10 rifle since 2003. CMC’s critical sear engagement surfaces have a proprietary machining process that renders superior surface finish and dimensional control. As compared to their competition, the techniques used to establish a 1-2 RMS surface finish as opposed to EDMing which leaves a pitty 32 RMS, compared to a mirror which is 0 RMS. MAGPUL MOE GRIP
The MOE Grip (Magpul Original Equipment) is a drop-in upgrade for the standard AR15/M4 pistol grip. The ergonomic, hand filling design combines anti-slip texturing with storage core capability. With a similar shape to a 'medium' sized MIAD, the one-piece reinforced polymer construction provides simplicity and a reduced cost while still maintaining the durability needed to withstand operational environments. The MOE Grip accepts optional Storage Cores for gear stowage and includes a basic grip cap. All mounting hardware included.
MAGPUL MOE-K2 GRIP
Similar in concept to the MOE, the MOE-K2 is a drop in upgrade for AR15/M4’s that offers a more vertical grip angle, but in a full-size grip design. The steeper vertical grip angle is optimized for use on PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) configurations and improves comfort and control on short LOP rifles that bring the primary hand in closer to the shooter’s body. With an aggressive TSP texture for positive weapon control, compatibility with optional Storage Cores for gear stowage, and a unique backstrap design for proper trigger finger placement, the K2 brings modern styling and ergonomics to the AR platform. All mounting hardware and a basic grip cap included.
MAGPUL MOE K GRIP
Designed as a drop-in upgrade for the standard AR15/M4 pistol grip, The MOE-K Grip provides an extremely low profile and compact design with a steeper grip angle compared to more traditional styles. The more vertical grip angle is optimized for use on PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) configurations and improves comfort and control on short LOP rifles that bring the primary hand in closer to the shooter's body. The thin profile and lack of backstrap 'beavertail' also makes it an excellent choice for shooters who prefer a smaller grip circumference. All mounting hardware included. Made in U.S.A.
REPTILIA CQG GRIP
The CQG grip has been specifically designed to enhance ergonomics and performance of compact sized short-barreled rifles, AR15 pistols, pistol caliber carbines, and PDWs. The CQG supports a wide range of hand sizes and weapon configurations, featuring a more pronounced vertical grip angle, anti-slip front and rear texture, and an enhanced beaver tail design; the CQG encourages the shooter's hand to be positioned higher on the grip, for greater control and improved comfort.
BCM GUNFIGHTER MOD1
Bravo Company's BCM GUNFIGHTER Mod 1 pistol grip allows for a reduced angle and improved ergonomics when shooting in the modern gun fighting stances. A hinged trap door offers storage inside the grip with a water resistant rubber gasket. Each grip includes both an extended modular insert to close the gap between the trigger guard and pistol grip, and a smooth modular insert for use with some rifles with larger built in trigger guards (user can decide which one to install). Made in the USA and manufactured from high quality impact resistant polymers.

MAGAZINE INFO and COMPATIBILITY:
The biggest issue with Scorpion magazines in a Stribog is the Stribog's sensitivity to mag position, angle, and movement. When designing the lower, we tested various magwell angles until we found what fed the most consistently. Mag height actually is even more important for feeding properly. On the Scorpion the ejector is higher (than the Stribog) and the base of the bolt has more clearance for the magazine. Everything is very forgiving on the Scorpion which is why they run so well with all of the different magazine options, even though the magazine dimensions vary drastically.

In the image to the right, you can see the varying differences between 3 brands of magazines. The feed lips all have different heights, and the taller ones can interfere with the Stribog ejector. Ideally you want your magazine butted right up against the ejector, but not binding or dragging on the bolt. If you have to smack the magazine for the mag catch to seat you will have feed issues. The only way to guarantee ideal fit is to file the top of the feed lips until they fit this way. The Magpuls have the tallest feed lips and, while they may be the best Scorpion magazine, they are the most prone to have issues unless they are filed. |
