The TP9 is arguably the most lightweight and compact PDW out there. Unfortunately one of the first things people typically notice is how flimsy and cheap the factory charging handle feels. In an effort to improve the part without compromising weight we were able to machine an all aluminum charging handle that weighs less than one ounce! Also incorporated in the design is a spring-loaded ball detent that produces a solid latch when closed. This detent also maintains tension on the handle for rattle-free operation.
