Introducing the MAT-9™, the NEXT Generation blowback 9mm AR upper receiver. This bufferless upper is monolithic (self-contained) and works with most AR lower receivers and a variety of the most poplar 9mm magazines.
Description
This upper receiver is side-folding compatible and features Matador Arms® patent-pending EZTS™ “Easy Take-down System” with no tools required to break down the upper for maintenance and cleaning. The 9mm upper is machined for maximum weight reduction, slim profile, and compatibility with bolt catches and lower receivers. The upper is also built with a tapered multi-material 4-piece trunnion system to maintain mechanical accuracy and durability.
The MAT-9™ 9mm AR upper can be configured to work in multiple ways:
Native Mode: Works with all AR-9 Lower Receivers that use the following double-stack 9mm magazines:
- Glock ®
- Sig Sauer ®
- Colt® Stick Magazines
- HK® MP5™
- CZ ® Evo Scorpion™
Conversion Mode: Works with a traditional AR-15 Lower Receiver with any of the following magwell conversions:
- Glock ®
- Sig Sauer ®
- Colt® Stick Magazines
- MEAN ARMS Endo-mag
